MWC NU Megaluh Holds Madrasah Amil Training in Jombang

JOMBANG-ASWINNEWS.COM- The Nahdlatul Ulama Branch Representative Council (MWC NU) Megaluh held a Madrasah Amil Training on Saturday, March 22, 2025. This activity aims to increase the capacity of amils ​​in managing zakat, infak, and alms professionally and in accordance with Islamic law principles.

This event is supported by NU Care-LAZISNU MWCNU Megaluh and LTMNU. This training was opened by the Chairperson of MWCNU Megaluh, Zainal Abidin, M.Pd., who in his direction emphasized the organization’s commitment to strengthening the role of amil at the local level. With this training, it is hoped that participants can understand the management of people’s funds in a transparent and accountable manner for the benefit of the community.

The material in this training was delivered by the LAZISNU MWCNU Megaluh Team, including Gogot Sugito, M. Nurohman, and Moh Usman. In his presentation, Moh Usman emphasized that LAZISNU cadres must invite NU residents to channel their alms and zakat through institutions under the auspices of NU and have clear legality. “Don’t let the people’s funds be channeled to institutions whose legality is unclear,” said Usman.

This training received a positive response from participants from various NU branches in Megaluh District. It is hoped that the amils ​​who have received this training will be able to carry out their duties well and contribute to improving the welfare of the people through more professional zakat management. This event was attended by 85 Lazisnu and Banom NU cadres.
