Massive Fire Burns Down GS Pasar Jum’at Purwakarta Shopping Center
PURWAKARTA-ASWINNEWS.COM – A massive fire has hit the GS shopping center in Pasar Jumat, Purwakarta, on Friday morning (21/03/2025) at around 08.00 WIB. The fire grew very quickly and burned down a number of kiosks in the shopping center. The cause and total losses due to this fire are not yet known for sure.
The Purwakarta Regency Fire Brigade (Damkar) were immediately deployed to the scene after receiving the report. A number of fire engines were seen struggling to extinguish the fire that continued to blaze. Extinguishing efforts were still ongoing for several hours to be able to control and completely extinguish the fire.
Until this news was broadcast, there have been no reports of fatalities related to this major fire incident and how much the losses were from the impact of this incident
“I saw that the fire was quite big when I arrived at the location,” said an eyewitness, (Agus) who happened to be near the scene. “The smoke is pitch black and very thick,” he said
