Bengkalis 1446 H Eid Takbir Parade Guaranteed to be Lively, Even Though Not Competed

BENGKALIS –ASWINNEWS.COM – The takbiran night to welcome Eid al-Fitr 1 Shawwal 1446 Hijriyah in Bengkalis Regency is guaranteed to be lively. However, unlike previous years, this year the Bengkalis Regency Government will not hold a competition in the implementation of the Takbir Parade.

This is in accordance with the circular issued by the Bengkalis Regency Regional Secretariat through the People’s Welfare Section, with the number: 400.8/Kesra-Setda/84, dated Friday, March 14, 2025. The letter was signed by the Assistant for Government and People’s Welfare, Andris Wasono, on behalf of the Bengkalis Regency Regional Secretary.

The letter explained that the 1446 H Eid Takbir Parade this time focuses more on the active participation of the community from villages and sub-districts. Congregants of mosques, prayer rooms, and prayer rooms are encouraged to join in enlivening the parade by presenting a procession of decorated carts or rowing pedicabs that are decorated brightly.

The Head of the Public Welfare Section (Kabag Kesra) of Bengkalis Regency, H. Herman Nur when contacted via his cellphone on Friday (3/21/2025), confirmed that there was a takbir parade even though there was no competition.

“God willing, there will be a parade. In connection with efficiency, we have sent a letter to each village head in Bengkalis District to participate by appointing a house of worship that will take part in the takbir parade,” he explained.

Furthermore, the Kabag Kesra also said that in order to facilitate the arrangement and data collection of participants, his party is opening registration from March 26 to 29, 2025. “This is to make it easier for us to accommodate the number of participants. We will open official registration from March 26 to 29, 2025,” he added.

Although it is no longer contested like the previous year, the Bengkalis Regency Government hopes that public enthusiasm will remain high. Participation in this takbir parade is expected to be a symbol of Islamic propagation and strengthen community togetherness in celebrating the night of victory after a full month of carrying out the Ramadan worship.
