BPKAD Kepulauan Meranti Reveals Reason for IDR 119 Billion Payment Delay

MERANTI – ASWINNEWS.COM – The Regional Finance and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Kepulauan Meranti explained the regional financial condition in a meeting with Commission II of the DPRD, Monday (3/17/2025). The Head of BPKAD, Irmansyah, explained that until now there has been a payment delay of IDR 119 billion that has not been resolved.

“The payment delay includes procurement of goods and services of IDR 38 billion, Additional Income for ASN Employees (TPP) of five months of IDR 54 billion, Siltap for village officials of five months of IDR 24 billion, and honorary salaries for December 2024,” explained Irmansyah.

According to him, the payment delay was due to the non-disbursement of Revenue Sharing Funds (DBH) from the center of IDR 41 billion and from the province of IDR 22.8 billion. “Our regional treasury is insufficient. We have written to the Ministry of Finance and the Governor of Riau, and will coordinate again with the province this week,” he said.

Currently, BPKAD has only been able to pay around 10 percent of the total deferred payments by relying on the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) and General Allocation Fund (DAU).

“We ask all parties to be patient. Once the funds come in, we will immediately resolve the deferred payments,” added Irmansyah.

The DPRD urged BPKAD to speed up steps and ensure priority payments, especially ahead of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
