In various places, many non-Muslims understand the value of fasting and show respect by not eating or drinking in front of fellow Muslims who are fasting.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, a number of Muslim traders continue to sell openly during the day, some even eat and drink in public without considering the atmosphere of Ramadan worship.

Responding to this, Ustaz Drs, Rohimān, a Preacher and Educator in Cirebon City, said that Ramadan is not just about holding back hunger and thirst, but also training patience, piety, and respect for others.

He added that if you really have to sell, it should be done more privately so as not to disturb those who are worshiping.

“Fasting is not only about physical, but also maintaining morals. If we do not fast for some reason, at least we still respect others who are carrying out worship,” he said.

“Provisions have been arranged by Allah, and the month of Ramadan is an opportunity to get more blessings,” he added.

This phenomenon is a reminder for Muslims to be more introspective in carrying out worship, not only demanding others to respect fasting, but also maintaining good manners in fasting.

Ramadan should be a moment to strengthen the values ​​of togetherness and noble morals, both for Muslims and society as a whole.
