TNI Information Coordination Meeting 2025: TNI Information Ready to Realize Prime Information and Support Asta Cita Program

 
JAKARTA-ASWINNEWS.COM- Head of the TNI Information Center (Kapuspen) Major General TNI Hariyanto representing the TNI Chief of General Staff (Kasum TNI) Lieutenant General TNI Richard Tampubolon opened the 2025 TNI Information Technical Coordination Meeting (Rakornispen) with the theme “TNI Information Continues to Improve Information Management and Services to Realize Prime TNI and Support the Asta Cita Program”, held at the TNI Information Center Journalist Hall Building, TNI Headquarters Cilangkap, East Jakarta, Wednesday (12/03/2025).

In his message, the TNI Information Center expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all TNI information staff for their extraordinary support and cooperation during the implementation of activities in 2024. Various series of events, especially the TNI Anniversary commemoration, have been massively publicized, starting from the Open Tournament, social services, health services, defense equipment exhibitions, to the peak of the TNI Anniversary ceremony. Thanks to the hard work of the TNI information staff, all of these activities were successfully held and received widespread attention, including various other important events that were also optimally publicized.

Furthermore, Major General TNI Hariyanto highlighted the importance of the role of the TNI information staff in building a positive image in society. He emphasized that the results of the latest survey reflect high public trust in the TNI. “Right now, we should also be grateful and proud of the results of the survey conducted by the Public Trust Indicator Survey Institute for the TNI of 93% for the survey period (22/9/2024). This is real evidence of the hard work of all TNI information staff in publicizing the activities of TNI units to build a positive image in society,” he explained.

Closing his remarks, the TNI Information Center Head emphasized the importance of accuracy and speed in responding to various circulating information and ensuring that every piece of information conveyed to the public is accurate, transparent and does not cause polemics. “If there is an incident in the region, collect data and ensure the truth of the facts about the incident, do not take the initiative to change the incident data which ends up being a blunder, then respond to all news information that has the potential to cause negative sentiment quickly and measurably so that the information that develops in the community does not become wild and always coordinate with the upper command and units below it,” he said.

The TNI Information Coordination Meeting continued with a briefing session from the Head of the Presidential Communication Office Hasan Nasbi, who discussed “Challenges in TNI & Government Communication”, and the Head of Public Relations of the Secretariat General of the Indonesian Ministry of Defense Brigadier General Frega Ferdinand Wenas Inkiriwang, who discussed “Digital Transformation of TNI Information: Technological Innovation for Effective Communication.” The event was attended by the Deputy Chief of the TNI Information Center, Head of the Naval Information Center, Head of the Air Force Information Center, Sesdispenad, and 48 participants attended in person and 110 other participants joined virtually via Vicon/Online. The Rakornispen was then officially closed by the Head of the TNI Information Center, Major General TNI Hariyanto.
