Festra 2025 Ciayumajakuning Level
INDRAMAYU-ASWINNEWS.COM- The Indramayu Regency Government together with Bank Indonesia (BI) Cirebon held a coordination meeting to prepare for the 2025 Ramadhan Reang Festival (Festra). The meeting, which took place in the Ki Sidum Meeting Room, Indramayu Regency Regional Secretariat, on Monday (10/03/2025), was led by the Expert Staff of the Indramayu Regent, Suwenda.
In the meeting, Suwenda said that preparations for the festival were almost complete. The Ramadhan Reang Festival 2025 is scheduled to take place from 14 to 22 March 2025, with Indramayu as the host chosen by BI Cirebon for the Ciayumajakuning area.
“Indramayu Regency is honored to host this Ciayumajakuning level festival, especially with the full support of BI Cirebon,” said Suwenda.
Indramayu Regent, Lucky Hakim, welcomed the implementation of the 2025 Ramadhan Reang Festival and planned to attend to officially open the event on March 15, 2025.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of the Bank Indonesia Representative Office (KPW BI) Cirebon, Agung Budi Laksono, emphasized that BI Cirebon strongly supports the development of sharia economy and MSMEs in the Ciayumajakuning area.
“We see great potential for Indramayu MSMEs in organizing this festival. The response from various parties has also been very good,” he said.
In addition to being an entertainment event, this festival also aims to improve public financial literacy. BI Cirebon will present various banking institutions throughout Ciayumajakuning to collaborate in financial education.
“We want to improve public financial literacy so that they better understand the banking system and its risks,” added Agung Budi Laksono.
The 2025 Ramadhan Reang Festival will feature various interesting activities, including:
1. Official opening by the Regent of Indramayu (March 15, 2025)
2. Commemoration of Nuzulul Qur’an (March 16, 2025)
3. Tablig akbar (March 16, 2025)
Various competitions (5 offline competitions and 4 online competitions) which are currently in the selection stage.
The discussion in this coordination meeting also covered technical aspects, promotion, as well as security and comfort for visitors. All parties are committed to ensuring the smooth running of the event which is expected to provide great benefits to the Indramayu community.
With full support from BI Cirebon and various related parties, the 2025 Ramadhan Reang Festival is expected to be an important momentum in strengthening the sharia economy and financial education for the Indramayu community and its surroundings.
