TNI Commander: TNI Prepares 66,714 Personnel for Eid al-Fitr Security in 2025

JAKARTA-ASWINNEWS.COM- TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto attended the Cross-Sectoral Coordination Meeting in the context of readiness for securing Eid al-Fitr 1446 H in 2025 at the Mutiara Auditorium STIK-PTIK Lemdiklat Polri, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Monday (10/3/2025).

In his presentation, the TNI Commander emphasized the importance of synergy between the TNI, Polri, and other agencies to ensure public security during Ramadan until the Eid al-Fitr celebration. “I am sure that the synergy between the TNI-Polri, as well as other ministries and institutions, will also be able to provide a sense of security and comfort to the public in carrying out Ramadan worship and celebrating Eid al-Fitr 1446 H,” said the TNI Commander.

Regarding the security of the Eid al-Fitr holiday, the TNI Commander revealed that his party had identified various vital objects that require special attention during the period. “The TNI itself has identified various vital objects that require special security during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr periods. Several objects of community activities that are prioritized for the deployment of TNI personnel include mosques, airports, stations, terminals, shopping centers, and tourist locations. In addition, there are also integrated posts to monitor the situation and posts in several rest areas or other places that are considered to require TNI deployment,” he explained.

As a form of readiness, the TNI has prepared 66,714 personnel from three services (TNI AD, TNI AL, and TNI AU) who will be assigned to the Police (BKO) or as standby troops in each region. The TNI also supports security by deploying the main weapons system (Alutsista), including 9 aircraft units (Boeing, Hercules, CN, and Cassa), 12 helicopters, as well as tactical vehicles, trucks, and ambulances.

Also present at this event were the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Minister of Tourism, Minister of Human Development and Culture, Minister of Transportation, Minister of Religion, Minister of Trade, Chief of Police, Head of Basarnas, Head of Bapanas, President Director of Jasa Marga, Director of Logistics and Infrastructure of PT Pertamina, President Director of PT Jasa Raharja, Deputy for Emergency Response of BNPB, Head of BMKG, Director General of Highways.
