Kampung Ceria Ramadhan Pasar Barongan: Igniting the Spirit of Ramadhan Through Community Collaboration
JOMBANG-ASWINNEWS.COM- Today, Sunday, March 9, 2025, starting at 14.00 WIB until the time to break the fast, the Kampung Ceria Ramadhan Pasar Barongan activity took place in Mojotrisno Village, presenting warmth and a spirit of togetherness in the midst of welcoming the holy month of Ramadan.
This event is a collaboration of a joint charity group, between the Kabare Mojoagung Sae (KMS) and Jombang Paseduluran (Jopas) communities, also supported by the Mojotrisno Village Government and Karang Taruna.
The activity began with a series of pre-event preparations that went smoothly, followed by traditional game performances such as hola-hop, clogs, stilts and creative puppet performances, and continued with breaking the fast together eating meatballs.
Mochamad Alim, the activity coordinator, also acted as a storyteller, providing education to the children who attended.
Through his stories and inspiring tales, Alim conveys the values of etiquette and education, and can increase knowledge. It is hoped that this activity can foster the creativity of young people and preserve traditional culture.
“I am very happy with this activity. This event, which combines elements of education, entertainment, and traditional culture, is the right place to strengthen the bonds of togetherness and inspire creativity among young people,” said Yayuk Erik S, a representative of the Kabare Mojoagung Sae community, who also attended the activity.
Nur Saidah, a representative of Jombang Paseduluran (Jopas), also added that this Ramadan momentum activity is a very good agenda to attract young people, especially children, to be more creative, innovative and educational.
Today’s Kampung Ceria Ramadhan Pasar Barongan activity is not only a momentum to share goodness in the month of Ramadan, but also as a real effort to maintain and preserve traditional cultural values. It is hoped that the spirit of togetherness and creativity displayed today can continue to grow and inspire similar activities in the future.
