SURABAYA-ASWINNEWS.COM- East Java Governor Khofifa Indar Parawansa held a thanksgiving at the Grahadi building in Surabaya from 17.00 WIB until finished, attended by the surrounding community, mass organizations and invitees from various elements of society, which was filled with religious lectures and Maghrib prayers in congregation, Sunday, March 2, 2025.

On this occasion, East Java Governor Khofifa Indar Parawansa said that the diversity in East Java, especially the city of Surabaya, has become a dynamic in itself for religious life in East Java, so that tolerance becomes a focus in community life, and Ramadan becomes beautiful and full of brotherhood.

H. Moh. Syarif Hidayatullah, ST., M.MT who is often called Gus Sentot, Deputy Chairman of the Jombang DPRD from the Demokrat Party Faction, told the media crew, Sunday (02/03), that the Tasyakuran activity is a means of honing oneself about the importance of friendship and fostering harmony among Muslims, especially during the month of Ramadan like this.

“Hopefully with this tasyakuran activity, it will increase the enjoyment of worship in the month of Ramadan, especially for Indonesian people who are fasting,” Gus Sentot hoped.
