In Indramayu, during the month of Ramadan, there are several special foods that are often sought after to break the fast. One of them is ragit, a special dish similar to roti canai or wide martabak but cut into small long pieces with a distinctive and savory curry sauce with a shrimp sauce flavor.
The Characteristic of Ragit is made from a mixture of wheat flour, eggs, and coconut milk which is made like a thin omelette and cut into small pieces. Then served with gulai or curry sauce rich in spices with a shrimp flavor.
It tastes savory and is suitable for breaking the fast because it is light but filling.
