Madina Regent’s Message at the Closing of the XXIV Regency-Level MTQ
MADINA-ASWINNEWS.COM- The Regent of Mandailing Natal (Madina) HM Jafar Sukhairi Nasution, conveyed several messages to participants and the community regarding the holding of the XXIV Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ), as well as the Madina Cinta Salawat Qasidah Arts Festival at the district level in 2025.
The message was read by Assistant I for Government and Public Welfare Sahnan Pasaribu, when officially closing the event in the courtyard of the Aek Godang Grand Mosque, Panyabungan, on Monday, February 24, 2025.
“To the qari, qariah, hafiz, hafizah, mufaasir, and mufassirah, the enthusiasm for the competition to win awards should not shift the sincere intention to increase the propagation of the Al-Quran and cultivate it in life,” said Sahnan reading the regent’s message.
Assistant I explained that the implementation of the MTQ is a means to spur the development of Islamic culture, recitation, memorization, and deepening of the Qur’an and hadith.
“The efforts made must not stop here, religious activities and full of Islamic propagation will be in vain if they do not leave an influence in society,” said Sahnan.
Assistant I congratulated the participants who had succeeded in emerging as champions. He also encouraged participants, both those who won and those who did not, to continue to improve their achievements in the future.
“Finally, by saying Alhamdulillahirabbilalamin, the 24th Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran and the Madina Cinta Salawat Arts and Qasidah Festival at the Mandiling Natal district level in 2025, have officially closed,” concluded Sahnan.

“We reported to the Regent that all sub-districts sent their respective teams,” he said.
The Head of the Social Welfare Division at the Madina Regional Secretary revealed that the implementation of the activity was held in seven places with the courtyard of the Grand Mosque as the main stage.
Secretary of the Council of Judges Ahmad Zainul Khobir read out the names of the participants who succeeded in becoming winners. However, he reminded that the winners were not certain to represent the Madina Regency Government in the provincial MTQ.
“Because this will be further regulated by the Mandailing Natal Regency Quran Recitation Development Institute (LPTQ),” said Zainul Khobir.
