18 Thousand Train Tickets for Eid Transportation from Cirebon Have Been Booked
CIREBON-ASWINNEWS.COM – PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Operational Area 3 Cirebon provides 82,802 passenger tickets for train departures from stations in the Daop 3 Cirebon area to various destinations during the 2025 Eid transportation period.
“We have opened train ticket sales starting from March 21, 2025 to April 6, 2025 for this year’s Eid transportation period,” said Daop 3 Cirebon Public Relations Manager, Muhibbuddin.
Muhibbuddin said that currently the number of tickets available is still very large, so that people can buy them so that travel plans using train transportation services can be carried out properly.
Based on data monitoring until Thursday, February 20, 2025, KAI Operational Area 3 Cirebon noted that long-distance train ticket sales for the 2025 Eid Transportation period had sold 18,308 tickets, only reaching 22 percent of the total number of 82,802 tickets provided. This figure is predicted to increase in the near future.
Public Relations Manager of Daop 3 Cirebon Muhibbuddin said that the favorite destinations for train users from Cirebon include travel destinations to Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Purwokerto and other cities in Central Java and East Java.
Today, Thursday, February 20, 2025, coincides with the ticket ordering schedule for train departures on D+5 of Eid (departure on April 6, 2025).
Daop 3 Cirebon has prepared 82,802 tickets with the following details: 1. Gunungjati train (KA 117) on the Cirebon-Gambir route with 9,880 seats 2. Gunungjati train (KA 119) on the Semarang Tawang Bank Jateng-Gambir route with 9,880 seats 3. Cakrabuana train (KA 121) on the Cirebon-Gambir route with 9,880 seats 4. Cakrabuana train (KA 123) on the Cirebon-Gambir route with 9,880 seats 5. Ranggajati train (KA 154) on the Cirebon-Jember route with 10,222 seats 6. Kaligung train (KA 218) on the Cirebonprujakan-Semarang Poncol route with 11,020 seats 7. Kaligung train (KA 214 and 216) on the Cirebon-Prumakan-Semarang Poncol route with 11,020 seats Brebes – Semarang Poncol with 22,040 seats
For information on additional trains for Eid 2025, it will be announced soon when the finalization process is complete. “Information regarding additional trains will be announced to the public soon after the finalization process. To ensure a safe and comfortable journey, KAI is conducting a thorough inspection of railway facilities, including locomotives and train sets. This inspection includes technical and operational aspects to ensure that all facilities are in prime condition before serving customers at the peak of the Lebaran homecoming and return flow,” explained Muhibbuddin.
PT KAI Operational Area 3 Cirebon appeals to the public who intend to use the train to return home on Lebaran to plan their trip well by purchasing tickets early to avoid running out of tickets. It is estimated that the train schedule on the peak days of the homecoming and return flow will be flooded with prospective passengers. The public is advised to purchase tickets through the Access By KAI application, the official PT KAI website, or various other official ticket sales partners.
