CIREBON CITY-ASWINNEWS.COM- In order to support the government’s program to improve the quality of student nutrition, Danramil 1401/Kesambi of Cirebon City, Captain Inf M. Ridwan, also accompanied the Chairman of Commission III of the PKS Faction of the Cirebon City DPRD, M. Yusup, M.Pd, in monitoring the “Free Nutritious Meals (MBG)” program held at SMP Negeri 4 Cirebon City, Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
This program aims to ensure that all students receive sufficient and quality nutritional intake, as part of the central government’s efforts to overcome the problem of malnutrition in children in schools. The activity received a positive response from students and the school.
Present on this occasion were the Principal of SMP N 4, Ikin Sahrikin, S.Pd., M.Pd, teachers, and representatives from the Cirebon City Education Office who also supervised the implementation of the program. In his explanation, Ikin Sahrikin, S.Pd., M.Pd. appreciated this initiative and hoped that the nutritious meal program could be sustainable to support the growth and development of children in Cirebon City.
“This program is very important to ensure that students get a balanced and healthy nutritional intake, which of course will support their concentration in learning,” said Ikin Sahrikin.
Meanwhile, Danramil 1401/Kesambi Kodim 0614/Cirebon City, Captain Inf M. Ridwan added that his party fully supports programs related to the health and welfare of the community, especially children, who are the next generation of the nation.
“This is a form of synergy between the government, TNI, and the community to ensure that our children grow up healthy and can learn optimally,” said Captain M. Ridwan.
With a program like this, it is hoped that it can reduce the number of malnutrition and improve the quality of education in Cirebon City. This Free Nutritious Meal Program will continue to be carried out in various schools, in order to create a healthier and smarter generation.
