Bengkalis Police and Mandau Police Support 1 Million Hectares of Corn Program
BENGKALIS – ASWINNEWS.COM – Bengkalis Police and Mandau Police took part in the 1 million hectare Corn Planting Movement Program, which is part of the 100 Days of Asta Cita Program of the President of the Republic of Indonesia. This activity was held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 14.00 WIB, in Block B11 Division 2 of the PT. Tumpuan Palm Oil Plantation HGU Area, Jalan Jurong Km. 2, Dusun Lubuk Linong, Petani Village, Bathin Solapan District, Bengkalis Regency.
Bengkalis Police Chief, AKBP Budi Setiawan, said that this program is a form of synergy between the Police, local governments, and the community in an effort to support national food security.
“We hope that this corn planting can increase food production in Bengkalis Regency and have a positive impact on community welfare,” said AKBP Budi Setiawan, Monday (2/17/2025).
Bengkalis Police and Mandau Police are working together with community groups and the Palm Oil Plantation Company PT. Tumpuan in running this program. A total of 6 hectares of land in Block B11 Division 2 and Block C22 Division 3 have been used for corn planting as part of a strategy to increase food production.
In addition, to facilitate land management, the Bengkalis Police also deployed heavy equipment in the form of PC 210 Excavators and PC 50 Excavators provided by PT. Tumpuan.
This activity went smoothly and received full support from various parties. It is hoped that this program can be an inspiration for the wider community to participate in efforts to increase national food security.
