‘Made in Bali’ Film Screening Presented by Josh Pictures

JAKARTA-ASWINNEWS.COM- The Press Screening & Press Conference for the film “Made in Bali”, at Studio 2 Episentrum XXI, Friday (14/02) which will be simultaneously shown in cinemas on February 20, 2025, was a success.

With a blend of Balinese and Japanese culture in the film “Made in Bali”, according to director Johar Prayudhi, the reason for including elements of Japanese culture in his film was to get a variation of lifting Bali to present cross-culture in the storyline.

This film tells the story of the life of Made, a young puppeteer from Gianyar Bali who has a friendship with his childhood friend, Niluh but is constrained by an arranged marriage with Putu, a puppet maker.

Japanese cultural characters are displayed by Susuki San, Darii Nilluh’s father, and also the choice of shooting location for the Japanese restaurant chosen by Krisna Restaurant because of the beautiful scenery with a combination of sunset screens in front of it and rice fields to create an authentic Japanese atmosphere with a modern touch, said Johar Prayudhi

With the combination of Balinese and Japanese culture, hopefully the audience will be impressed and can enjoy the visual beauty and understand the cultural elements in the film “Made in Bali”, “he said.
