Kejaksan City of Cirebon, Commander of Kodim 0614/Cirebon City Lieutenant Colonel Inf Saputra Hakki, S.H., M.P.M, attended and participated in the Launching of Free Health Checks (PKG) and the Simultaneous Mosquito Nest Eradication Movement (GERTAK PSN), at SDN Keramat, Cirebon City.
Present at the activity were, among others, Dr. Drs. Agus Mulyadi, M.Si (Acting Mayor of Cirebon), Lieutenant Colonel (P) Faisal Yanova Tanjung, S.E., M.Tr.Opsla (Danlanal Cirebon), dr. Erina Ariyani (Dokpol Polres Ciko), Iing Daiman, S.IP., M.Si. (Acting Regional Secretary of Cirebon City), – Drs. Sutikno S.AP (Asisda Cirebon City), dr. Hj Siti Maria Listiawati,. M.M (Head of Cirebon City Health Office), Kadini, S.Sos (Head of Cirebon City Education Office), dr Eti Dewi Mutiara (Head of Kejaksan Health Center), Opik Taupik (Head of BJB Bank Branch of Cirebon City).
In his remarks, Acting Mayor of Cirebon Dr. Drs Agus Mulyadi, M.Si, said that the Cirebon City Government always encourages improving health services for the entire community, especially for those who need easy and fast access to services. At this point, the Community Health Center as the spearhead of public health services, has a very important role in providing quality services, especially through the Free Health Check-up (PKG) program.
“This program is in line with the vision of President Prabowo Subianto’s government which emphasizes the importance of equitable and quality health services for all Indonesian people. This PKG program is part of the government’s efforts to change the paradigm of health services from curative to preventive, for newborns to the elderly. Examination is carried out in stages according to age groups, with a focus on early detection of diseases that are common in Indonesia,” said the Acting Mayor of Cirebon.
“In addition, on this occasion we are also implementing the Simultaneous Mosquito Nest Eradication Movement (PSN). As we know, Dengue Fever (DB) is still a threat to public health, especially in the rainy season like now,” added the Acting Mayor of Cirebon.”
“In Cirebon City, there have been 5 confirmed cases of Chikungunya, while in 2024 there will be 8 confirmed cases of Chikungunya. One of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of these cases is to maintain environmental cleanliness and ensure that there are no places that become breeding grounds for mosquitoes that cause dengue fever,” concluded the Acting Mayor of Cirebon, Agus Mulyadi.
On the same occasion, Dandim 0614/Cirebon City, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Saputra Hakki, S.H., M.P.M, said,
“This program is an effort to prevent diseases caused by mosquitoes, such as dengue fever and malaria, which are still a health threat to the community. In addition, this free health check is expected to help the community monitor their health conditions regularly.”
Furthermore, Dandim 0614/Cirebon City added that eradicating mosquito nests is not only the responsibility of the government, but also the community.
“We invite all elements of society to play an active role in maintaining environmental cleanliness, draining places that have the potential to become mosquito nests, and following other prevention efforts,” concluded Lieutenant Colonel Inf Saputra Hakki, SH, MPM.
