BENGKALIS –ASWINNEWS.COM – The Teluk Papal Village Government (Pemdes), Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency, held a Village Deliberation (Musdes) to determine prospective recipients of Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) and discuss regional autonomy which was held in the Teluk Papal village office hall on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
In the meeting, the Acting Head of Teluk Papal Village, Juniarto, S.Akun, emphasized that the process of determining BLT recipients must be carried out objectively and transparently, taking into account the criteria set by the government. He also asked all village officials, including hamlet heads, RT and RW heads, to play an active role in providing understanding to the community regarding the distribution mechanism for this assistance.
“I hope that all village officials can explain to the community who have not received assistance. Don’t be a provocateur, because this assistance issue is very sensitive,” said Juniarto in his speech.
In addition to discussing BLT, the deliberation also highlighted the importance of regional autonomy in improving services and community welfare at the village level. With the decentralization policy, it is hoped that villages can be more independent in managing budgets and development programs.
This village deliberation was attended by village officials, RT/RW heads, community leaders, and representatives from various village elements. Residents who attended were also given the opportunity to convey input and aspirations regarding the distribution of BLT and future village development programs.
With this deliberation, it is hoped that the entire community can understand the process of determining BLT recipients and the importance of supporting village policies for mutual progress.
