In order to welcome the holy month of Ramadan 1446 H, the Kuala Alam Village Government, Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province, carried out a mutual cooperation activity. This activity involved the Acting (PJ) Head of Kuala Alam Village, Norherizal, S.Sos., village officials, and the local community on Saturday, February 8, 2025.
The activity which started this morning focused on cleaning public facilities such as mosques, village roads, and water channels to create a clean and comfortable environment ahead of Ramadan.
When met at the location, the Acting Head of Kuala Alam Village, Norherizal, S.Sos., said that this activity was part of an effort to maintain the tradition of togetherness in the village. “This mutual cooperation is a tradition that we must maintain. In addition to being a form of preparation to welcome the holy month of Ramadan, this is also a means of strengthening the relationship between village officials and the community. We want to create a clean, comfortable environment that supports the solemnity of worship in the month of Ramadan,” he said.
Norherizal also hopes that activities like this can inspire the community to continue to maintain environmental cleanliness, not only during Ramadan, but also on ordinary days.
Ucok, one of the residents who participated in this activity, said, “Mutual cooperation like this is very beneficial. In addition to the environment being clean, we can also interact with fellow residents. We hope that activities like this will continue to be carried out routinely.”
This mutual cooperation activity was closed with a meal together as a form of togetherness and gratitude. With the enthusiasm shown by the entire community, Kuala Alam Village is ready to welcome the holy month of Ramadan with a clean environment and full of togetherness.
