One Family One Vote, Democratic Party Elect the Head of RW 06 Senggoro Village
BENGKALIS–ASWINNEWS.COM- Residents of RW 06 Dusun 5, Senggoro Village, Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency, held a democratic party by electing the Head of RW for the 2025-2029 period. This election took place on Tuesday morning, with the principle of “one family, one vote”.
The polling station (TPS) is located in the yard of the Jami’atul Ikhlas Mosque, Jalan Bantan. The election process took place from 08.00 to 11.00 WIB on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, which was enthusiastically followed by local residents. The two candidates competing in this election were Devi Afrizal with ballot number 1, and Safren Efendi with ballot number 2, who is the incumbent Head of RW 06.
The democratic celebration was also attended by the Head of the Senggoro Village Consultative Body (BPD), Haji Irwanto, along with his members, and the Secretary of Senggoro Village, Feriandi. Their presence provided moral support and witnessed firsthand the election process which took place in an atmosphere full of family and democratic spirit.
One of the residents of RW 06 expressed his joy at the implementation of this election.
“As residents, we exercised our right to vote with great enthusiasm. My family and I left home at 09.31 WIB, and it only took five minutes to get to the TPS. The atmosphere was very lively and full of family spirit,” he said.
The election of the RW Head reflects the spirit of democracy at the local level, with residents of RW 06 united in determining their leader for the next five years. The results of this election are expected to bring positive change and improve the welfare of the people of RW 06 Senggoro Village.
As of this writing, the vote counting results are still in process and will be announced by the election committee after completion.
