Gelarmendala Hosts Sakura Wisata Owner & Young Entrepreneur in an Entrepreneurship Seminar
Students of the Community Service Program (KKM) from Institut Pangeran Dharma Kusuma Indramayu, Group 2, in Gelarmendala Village organized an entrepreneurship seminar to boost the growth of local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The event, held at the Gelarmendala Village Hall, featured Wiwin Suiwin, S.E., the owner of Sakura Wisata, and Moh. Bahrul Ulum, a young entrepreneur and creator of the Lebu Digital product, as the main speakers.
The seminar was attended by dozens of participants, ranging from students to MSME entrepreneurs, who eagerly absorbed business insights directly from experienced practitioners. Wiwin Suiwin shared successful strategies for managing a tourism-based business, emphasizing the importance of innovation and digitalization in facing modern business challenges. Meanwhile, Moh. Bahrul Ulum discussed sustainable business concepts, financial management, and marketing strategies that can help MSMEs expand their market reach.
The Chairman of KKM Gelarmendala, Kastim, hopes this seminar can encourage local MSMEs to continue growing and competing on a broader scale. “We want MSMEs in this area to advance and be able to face global competition. Through this seminar, we hope participants can implement the knowledge gained to develop their businesses,” he stated.
An interactive discussion between participants and speakers became one of the highlights of the event. MSME entrepreneurs shared their challenges, such as digital marketing and limited capital, and received direct input from experts.
This seminar is part of the KKM Gelarmendala students’ work program to support local economic growth. Moving forward, KKM students plan to provide continuous assistance to MSMEs and organize follow-up programs focusing on digital marketing and product innovation.
With this seminar, it is hoped that MSMEs in Gelarmendala will grow, gain high competitiveness, and be able to seize business opportunities in the digital era.
