Cirebon – aswinnews.com – On Wednesday night, January 8, 2025, around 9:00 PM WIB, a fire broke out at Grage Mall in Cirebon, specifically on a panel wall facing Jalan Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo.

The incident caused panic among visitors and employees, who were immediately evacuated through the back exit to ensure their safety.

The Cirebon Fire and Rescue Department acted swiftly, deploying two fire trucks to the scene. The fire was brought under control within approximately 30 minutes, preventing it from spreading to other areas.

Thanks to the quick response, no casualties or injuries were reported, and mall activities returned to normal after the fire was extinguished.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the authorities. Nevertheless, this incident serves as a reminder of the importance of safety and security systems in public facilities such as shopping malls.
