Israel’s Brutality Against Palestine: Facing Suffering with Patience and Prayer

The Israel-Palestine conflict has lasted for decades, leaving deep scars on both sides, especially on the Palestinian people who are the primary victims of this violence. The images of suffering circulating in the media, such as destroyed homes, casualties, and children losing their futures, have become part of the harsh reality that is hard to accept. Although we often feel exhausted, frustrated, or even hopeless with these ongoing events, two things remain a foundation for many people facing uncertainty: patience and prayer.

Patience: Steadfastness in Suffering

In the midst of relentless brutality, patience becomes one of the strengths that allows a person to endure. For the Palestinian people who have lived under the shadow of war for years, patience is not just about waiting but also a mental struggle to keep enduring despite their world seeming to collapse. Each attack, each loss, each trauma they bear does not make them surrender to the circumstances. Patience teaches to remain firm, to face it with the belief that someday, although it seems distant, peace will come.

Patience is not something easy. Especially when suffering comes relentlessly. However, patience provides the strength to continue living and hoping, even though the road ahead is long and filled with obstacles. Just like the Palestinian people who continue to endure despite being in a situation full of uncertainty, patience is a form of belief that a better future is still possible to achieve, even in difficult circumstances.

Prayer: Hope That Never Fades

Alongside patience, prayer becomes an equally important weapon in facing suffering. Prayer is a form of communication with the Creator, a place where we pour out all our hopes, sadness, and desires for change. For many people trapped in this conflict, prayer is not only for asking for safety and justice but also as a way to find inner peace amid the ongoing violence.

Prayer is a form of steadfastness in the heart that, even though everything seems grim, there is a greater force that always listens to the cries of His people. For those in Palestine, prayer becomes hope that remains alive, even though there is no guarantee when this suffering will end. Similarly, for us who are far from there, prayer is our way to show solidarity and care, as well as a form of desire for peace and justice to be realized soon.

The Importance of Solidarity in Prayer and Action

Although we often feel powerless in the face of the brutality happening, it does not mean we should stop doing something. Through prayer, we play a part in providing moral support to those who are struggling. In addition, real actions such as providing humanitarian aid, supporting peaceful solutions, or advocating for justice can strengthen our voice in creating a better world.

However, it cannot be denied that prayer and patience are the main forces that allow us to endure. These two things remind us that, even though the world is full of injustice and violence, we still have hope. Hope that, one day, peace will come, even though it must go through a path full of challenges.

Ending the Journey with Confidence

When we feel weary and tired of witnessing the ongoing brutality, let us remember that patience and prayer are two things that can keep us strong. In the darkest moments, they become the light that guides us not to give up. We may not be able to stop this conflict in an instant, but we can pray, provide support, and continue to fight for justice.

The suffering felt by the Palestinian people is not an issue that we can forget or ignore just like that. Every prayer uttered, every small action we take, is part of a great effort to bring change. Just like patience and prayer that are timeless, the struggle for peace must also continue without end. Because, in every suffering, there is hope that grows, and in every prayer, there is a strength that can heal wounds.
