To love you is breathing,
To love you is healing,
To love you is living,
To love you’s existing
I love you with my heart
I wrote this with my fingers
It’s been here from the start
It holds on through every winter
No matter my days
Exhausting as it were
Like a thousand grenades,
My heart bursts for you, my fleur
Forever and ever, sang the sun
Forever and ever, sang the moon
Forever and ever I’ll sing this tune
Forever and ever I will love you
Why is it that you’re there
And not by my side?
I’d braid your hair
Hold your hand while we stride
We’d trail down meadows,
Sing from the windows,
No matter what they sow
Our love will never be owed
Even when tides start to shift,
Even when “good-bye” said every star,
My heart would always seethe
With anger that you’re so far
I’m bad with words
Much less with rhymes
But I’ll express my universe
Through these faulty words of mine
